Coastal Detox, Inc. is a completely confidential, licensed medical detoxification facility located in the city of Stuart on Florida’s beautiful Treasure Coast. At Coastal Detox, our Mission is to help each client Sail Through Detox with safe, highly effective, medically supervised detox protocols combined with a wide variety of soothing holistic treatment therapies and compassionate client care within an exceptionally comfortable and tranquil living environment.

Coastal Detox, Inc. has an open position for an On-Call Driver. This position requires 24/7 On-Call Coverage when on shift. Must be able to work 20 hours per week. Hours will vary. Must be available 5 days per week (including Saturdays). The ideal candidates will be enthusiastic individuals who have a desire to impact the lives of those struggling with addiction and are team players. RESPONSIBILITIES:

Communicates with supervisor, clients, and referring agencies to coordinate client’s arrival.

Transports clients safely to and from facility, scheduled appointments, and travel destinations.

Interacts in a professional and positive manner with clients during transport.

Adheres to all Coastal Detox, Inc. Policies and Procedures.

Conducts self in a manner that represents Coastal Detox, Inc.’s values at all times.

Communicates clearly with direct supervisor regarding departmental and Coastal Detox, Inc. concerns.

Maintains a positive and respectful attitude with all work-related contacts.

Provides a safe environment for clients.

Protects client confidentiality as required by State and Federal Privacy Laws.

Maintains and ensures the cleanliness of all vehicles.

Documents all vehicle destinations on vehicle mileage log. Submits logs as requested by direct supervisor.

On-Call 24/7 when on scheduled shift.

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:

Associate's Degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.

1-2 years of experience in a similar position or similar function.

CPR/First Aid certification preferred.

Computer skills.

Knowledge of substance abuse field preferred.

Knowledge of twelve step program preferred.

Experience with electronic medical records (EMRs) preferred.

Ideal candidate will reside in Stuart, FL.

REQUIRED:

Must be able to be On-Call 24/7 when on scheduled shift.

Must be able to work 20 hours per week.

Must be available 5 days per week (including Saturdays).

Must have Valid Florida Driver’s License.

Must have clean driving record.

Must be able to pass drug screen and background check.
